This workshop is intended for schools interested in becoming Powered by Compass certified through Valor's 3-year training and credentialing program. Through the Compass Camp partnership, schools will receive coaching and training to implement Valor's comprehensive human development model for students and staff, called The Compass.

Event Overview

  • Meet the Compass Camp Coaching Team

  • Experience The Compass, Valor's approach to relational and identity development in schools. 

  • Complete a sample piece of the Compass curriculum and participate in a facilitated Compass Circle 

  • Internalize the conditions for success in implementing the Compass Model in your school

  • Preview the coaching and training resources that are available to schools through Valor's School Partnership Program

Event Attendance Requirements

The school principal must attend the full event for any school that is interested in applying for a Compass Camp partnership (launching in the Fall of 2024). To ensure that the school has adequate network or district support to commit to a 3-year credentialing and training process, at least one network/district-level leader must also attend.

**Existing network/district partnerships may waive this requirement.

In addition to the required attendees, you may bring three additional school leaders (AP/Dean/Director and Teacher Leader roles).
